NOAHS ARK - COMMUNITY BURSARY

As a means to encourage and facilitate ease for members of our community who may be in financial hardship or difficult, Noahs Ark periodically offer Community Bursaries towards  enriching and developmental initiatives.

FUTUWWA RETREAT - 2019/ 1440

This year, two community bursaries will be offered to one brother and one sister, to assist in their participation in the
annual Futuwwa Retreat (organised by Greensville Trust) in Turkey.

The Futuwwa Retreat is a uniquely designed and well-established Muslim retreat, aimed at reviving the lost Prophetic arts which in turn develop and refine noble character.

To apply for the community bursary, complete the following request form below.
Once your request has been received, a Bursary Application form will then be sent to you which must be completed and returned by Friday 31st May 2019.  
If you are successful, you will shall be contacted by Friday 7th June 2019 with the specific details of the bursary amount.

The conditions of the bursary require the applicant to agree to:
  • Producing a daily video-based diary (VLOG) detailing his/ her activities on the retreat. This production is to be edited and then given to the Trust for publication on Noahs Ark’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
  • Producing a bi-daily written log of the physical, mental and spiritual challenges and insights they undertake. These will be published in on Noahs Ark's Facebook page and in forthcoming newsletters.
  • Writing a note of gratitude to the patrons and donors of Noahs Ark which will be published in forthcoming newsletters.
  • Full participation of the activities on the retreat, as long as the participant is fully able and in good health.
  • Being a representative of Noahs Ark, whilst maintaining a high standard of respect and  committed to the highest morals and conduct of the Islamic faith.
  • Returning any and all of the bursary in the event of non-participation.
