An Approach to Home Education With Ustadh Sacha Syed (Home Educator) Friday 19th August - 715pm (after Asr prayer) **PLEASE REGISTER BELOW** Due to popular demand and as a follow up to our previous presentation back in March on the same topic, this talk looks at the approaches to Home Education. With the increasing pressures placed on children through state schooling, unrealistic and often unnecessary goals projected by teachers and a growing rate of depressed and overburdened children, many are looking at home education as a viable alternative. If you're finding that your children are 'suffering' more than flourishing at their current educational establishment, we highly recommend you join us on this particularly important topic. This event is open and suitable for all comers. The initial discussion will look at: - how and why people choose to Home Educate their children - why this is relevant for all parents, The second part of the discussion will address some everyday scenarios, challenges and practicalities. By the end of the evening participants should have a clearer sense of how to assess their own suitability for home education. This will be an interactive event with the audience expected to contribute during the evening, please come prepared with ideas and thoughts! Come, be inspired and a make a change to your lives. Brothers & Sisters welcome **Gentle note - As this is an informative session, any accompanying children are asked to bring along quiet activities to keep themselves busy.
