Brothers & Sisters Welcome Class room format with Q & A. Our Teachers Shaykh Sulayman Van Ael Shaykh Sulayman converted to Islam when he was 18. He then head out for Sudan to memorize the Quran. He studied in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Emirates, Morocco, Belgium and Holland with more 50 different mashayikh. He was a professor at the Rotterdam University, Erasmus High school and was appointed as the head of Teachers by the Muslim Executive. He has his Bachelor in theology, Master (theory) in mental health, and is a counselor at London school of Economics, Imperial University and SOAS University. He is working on a video-library with more than 100 different topics and he wrote about 400 books which are being translated into English for the moment. Shaykh Noorud-Deen Rashid Shaykh Noorud-Deen is a person of immense piety and scrupulousness in the religion, a true role-model for todays youth and elders alike. In 2007 he was blessed with the opportunity to travel abroad and study with some of the leading scholars of Syria and Yemen, amongst them: Shaykh Samir Al-Nass, Shaykh Mazin Bakir, Shaykh Rashad Shams, and Shaykh Mujir al-Khatib. He followed a broad curriculum paying special attention to Fiqh (Jurisprudence) and Sirah (Prophetic Biography). Shaykh Noorud-Deen has been involved in da’wah and teaching the Islamic sciences for over 10 years and is a founding member of Shifa Trust. Shaykh Noorud-Deen also graduated from Middlesex University with a joint BA Hons Degree in Accounting and Finance with Business Economics. He later completed a PGCE at Warwick University and taught for a number of years at Luton SFC whilst continuing his Islamic education on a part time basis. Shaykh Noorud-Deen is a person of immense piety and scrupulousness in the religion, a true role-model for todays youth and elders alike. He returned to the UK in 2012 and currently resides in Luton, teaching Islamic Sciences on a daily basis.

Relationship & Sex Education (RSE) Seminar Sat 27 April - 6pm with Yusuf Patel (SREIslamic) Yusuf Patel is the founder of SREIslamic, which provides advice, support and training to parents concerned with how Sex and Relationship Education (SRE) is taught in schools, particularly at the primary level. SRE Islamic has conducted hundreds of seminars across the country since it was founded in 2008 in order to inform Muslim parents of their legal rights in the area of SRE as well as running workshops covering the responsibility of Muslim parents to impart age appropriate sex education in line with their values. Yusuf is the Beneficiary Support Manager at the charity, HHUGS, that supports families impacted by anti-terror legislation. |
