New Initial Six Week Beginners course to the Arabic language Saturdays 2pm - 4pm (Starting 23rd May 2015) With Dr. Imran Hamza Alawiye (Author of 'Gateway to Arabic' series). Gateway to Arabic is a well-structured, progressive course that has been carefully design to teach Arabic in a non-Arabic speaking environment to learners from a broad age range. It contains a wealth of exercises to reinforce vocabulary acquisition and the understanding and application of grammar. Noah's Ark are truly honoured to host our beloved teacher, Dr. Imran Alawiye for this course and pray the community take full advantage of this great opportunity to learn the language of the Qur'an. Instructor: Dr. Imran Hamza Alawiye is the author of numerous books specializing in teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers, including the highly popular “Gateway to Arabic” series. He graduated in 1978 from the Islamic University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia and went on to obtain his PHD in Arabic from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS University of London). He has a wealth of experience in teaching Arabic at various levels for the past 35 years. This course assumes that the participant has knowledge of the Arabic alphabet at a minimum. **This course is designed for adults (minimum participant age - 15 years old).
