With Mufti Muhammad ibn Adam
Imam Ghazali's Bidayat al-Hidayah, the Beginning of Guidance, is an inspirational manual to guide the believer towards achieving taqwa, God-consciousness. Its three sections include: obedience, refraining from disobedience and the etiquette of companionship with the Creator and His creation. Written in the 12th century towards the end of Imam al-Ghazali's life it embodies a lifetime of learning, experience and spirituality that can act as the perfect introduction to his earlier, lengthier works. This series of lectures will be led by Mufti Muhammad ibn Adam who is a teacher at the Jamiah Uloom al-Quran in Leicester researcher at the Institute of Islamic Jurisprudence Darul Iftaa - we are privileged to have him travel to ASCC to teach and guide us through al-Ghazali's work. **A copy of the text will be available to purchase from ASCC also inshaAllah.
