With Shaykh Faiz Qureshy (The Ribat Institute, HMP Broadmoor Imam).

This is a practical interactive workshop, delivered successfully around the UK, that will take the participant through the complete Islamic funeral rites.
The techniques/ methods shown in this course are in accordance witt the Blessed Sunnah of Allah's Messenger (peace & blessings be upon him).

The following topics will be covered in detail:
- remembering death
- rites for one close to death
- actions upon death
- washing & shrouding the deceased

A course text manual will also be provided for those who register that can be retained for future reference.
Washing and shrouding pertaining to both men and women will be covered, with practical demonstrations.

This knowledge is a communal obligation and highly beneficial. We encourage all to participate.

The Messenger of Allah (peace & blessings be upon him) said "Whoso digs a grave, Allah will erect for him a house in Paradise, and whoso washes a deceased person, he departs from his sins just as the day his mother bore him."

There will be a break for the Dhuhr Salaah with light refreshments being served.
