As a result, we must continue to recruit the right people from every background and use all their skills and knowledge to make London safer for everybody. To become a police constable, you now need to have completed the CKP – Certificate in Knowledge of Policing (unless you have already attained your Police Law and Community Certificate (PLC)* in the last two years).
