The following series of lectures will look at life and salient features of the Chosen One, the Messenger of God (peace be upon him), a study which will covering a popular Seerah text, Nur al 'Uyun - The Light of Sight by Ibn Sayyid an Nas.
The purpose of these classes are to get to know the Prophet (s) in order for us to increase our love for him. We want to know how he lived his life and who his friends were, what he dressed like, what he liked to eat and drink.

Classes are intended to be interactive, allowing for questions and encourage active participation.

About the instructor - Shaykh Sulayman Van Ael
Shaykh Sulayman converted to Islam when he was 18. He then head out for Sudan to memorize the Quran. He studied in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Emirates, Morocco, Belgium and Holland with more 50 different mashayikh. He was a professor at the Rotterdam University, Erasmus High school and was appointed as the head of Teachers by the Muslim Executive. He has his Bachelor in theology, Master (theory) in mental health, and is a counselor at London school of Economics, Imperial University and SOAS University. He is working on a video-library with more than 100 different topics and he wrote about 400 books which are being translated into English for the moment.
Considered one of most influential Muslims in the world.
